Where can you find a photobooth in Hong Kong? 42 venues

Looking for a four-cut photo strip in Hong Kong? This page collects the machines of every brand into one list — no brand ranking, searchable by area — and currently holds 10 brands, 42 venues and 63 machines, each with its own source, checked 2026-08-30.

Macau: 6 more venues (counted separately; never added to the Hong Kong figures).

What it is called locally:In Hong Kong and Macau the shop signs and the search terms are Cantonese: 貼紙相 (photo sticker), 自拍亭 (self photo booth) and 四格相 (four-cut photo). In Taiwan the same machine is called 拍貼機. Venue names and addresses on this page are always kept in their original form and never translated — you need the original address to paste into a map.

Venue names, addresses, floors, the position of each machine and the few opening-hour entries are kept exactly as this site recorded them, in the original Chinese. They are the wording you need to paste into a map or to read off the sign when you get there, so they are shown unchanged rather than translated.

Some machines carry a note in brackets — which source the record came from, what two sources disagree about, or why the current status could not be confirmed. Those notes are kept in the original Traditional Chinese. They are the wording in which this site’s verification conclusions were written, and translating them would mean rewriting a verification conclusion, so they are shown unchanged.

Ordering follows the stroke count of the brand name (an objective rule, never the machine count). “Venues” is the number of places a brand appears in; “Machines” is the number of units in total — two units in the same mall count as two. Photobooth venues in Macau

Macau and Hong Kong share the same Cantonese-speaking market and largely the same brands (SNAPIO, Photoism and Life4Cuts all have machines in both), so Macau is shown on this page rather than on one of its own. This site records 5 brands, 6 venues and 8 machines in Macau, checked 2026-08-30. This section exists to finish the coverage of the Cantonese-speaking market, not as a traffic play — Macau has a population of about 700,000, and the figures here are never added to the 42 Hong Kong venues above. The two places are counted separately. Figures from different countries are never added into a single total.

1 machine in Macau is marked “needs confirmation”The brand’s own Macau account still lists the venue, but the resort’s official tenant list (all 120 tenants read in full) has no such shop, and two sources that do not match are not treated as confirmed. Check the brand’s official social channels before you go.

There is no map for the Macau section. The map above is scoped to Hong Kong, and folding Macau venues into “nearby” would quietly merge two separate places into one range. Macau addresses can still be opened in Google Maps from the table.

Checked but not listed:COSTATA, another Macau self photo studio, says on its own official account that it will “see you again in 2026-09” and is moving to the Horta e Costa Commercial Centre, so it currently has no shop where you can take photos and is not listed. Another account previously listed as a Macau self photo studio can no longer be opened, and is likewise not listed. The bar is the same as for Hong Kong: only a brand’s official channel or a Google Business Profile counts, and what cannot be found is not written down.

How this list was compiled

Survival is judged from two kinds of source only:a brand’s own official channel (the venue page on its official site, its official Instagram profile) and Google Business Profiles. Travel round-ups and blog listicles are treated as a hint only and never recorded as a source — that kind of article ranks for years without ever being updated, and shops that closed long ago keep being recommended. The “Source” link after each machine is the evidence for that machine, and hovering it shows the date that machine itself was checked — not one date for the whole dataset. Fields that could not be found (floor, opening hours) are left empty; nothing is guessed.

What the address links to.The address in the table links to the Google Business Profile of the venue itself (35 of the 42 venues have one, each matched record by record against the profile name); the other 7 fall back to an address search rather than being pointed at some shop inside the mall — pointing at the wrong place does more damage than not pointing at all.

How far the game arcades were checked. Many Japanese photo sticker machines in Hong Kong sit inside game arcades rather than in standalone self photo studios. This site went through all 20 branches listed on NAMCO’s official branch page: the official page gives only addresses and opening hours and carries no machine list at all, and going through the Google Business Profiles branch by branch (18 of them have a profile; the Langham Place and PopCorn branches also had 71 and 80 reviews read individually) turned up no mention of a photo sticker machine either. Only two branches yielded positive official evidence — NAMCO’s official Facebook announced on 2021-12-23 that the Langham Place branch had “officially launched its new photo sticker machine”, and on 2017-10-19 that the PopCorn and Langham Place branches had FAN+TIC photo sticker machines — and both are marked “needs confirmation” because the announcements are old and the current situation could not be confirmed. For the other 18 branches no positive evidence was found and this site lists none of them: a branch existing is not the same as a machine being inside it. Other independent arcade chains in Hong Kong, such as Game Zone and 遊戲天地, have not yet been checked branch by branch and are not listed.

6 machines are marked “needs confirmation”The brand’s official channel lists the location, but there is no independently checkable business profile for its current status. That does not mean it has closed — machines are often placed inside malls and need not have a profile of their own — and it does not mean it is definitely still there either. Check the brand’s official social channels before you go.

How Hong Kong differs from Taiwan. In Taiwan a venue is usually one shop of one brand. In Hong Kong the same mall often has machines from several brands standing next to each other — 新之城 in Mong Kok and The ONE in Tsim Sha Tsui each have three. So the unit of this list is the venue, with the brands and floors listed inside it, rather than splitting one mall into three records.

What the signs say: Cantonese wording

The same machine goes by different names on either side of the strait. Hong Kong and Macau signs and searches use the Cantonese words; Taiwan uses 拍貼機. Both are listed here because searching Hong Kong for 拍貼機, or Taiwan for 貼紙相, tends to return nothing.

Hong Kong / Macau wordingTaiwan wordingWhat it means
貼紙相 拍貼 The most common Hong Kong wording; it means the strip of photos the machine prints.
自拍亭 拍貼機 Refers to the machine itself, or to the shop it stands in.
四格相 韓式四格 The four-frame layout of the print.

Common questions

Is the Hong Kong 貼紙相 the same thing as the Taiwanese 拍貼機?

Yes, the same thing under two names. Hong Kong usually says 貼紙相, 自拍亭 or 四格相; Taiwan mostly says 拍貼機 or “Korean four-cut”. The venue list on this page works for either wording — it is the same kind of machine.

What is the difference between a photo sticker app and a real machine?

A phone app or an online tool puts your own photos into a frame and saves an image file; there is no physical print. A machine takes the photo on site and prints the strip there and then, and most brands also offer a digital copy to download. If you only want to try a layout on your phone, the online photo tool on this site is free to use; if you want the physical print, you need one of the venues listed on this page.

Which part of Hong Kong has the most photo booths?

Of the 42 Hong Kong venues recorded here, Causeway Bay and Tsim Sha Tsui hold the most, while Mong Kok has the widest spread of brands — the same mall there often has machines from different brands standing side by side. The full distribution is under “Browse by area” above.

We record only public fields such as brand, venue, address, and machine model name. The data is compiled by hand from brands’ official public information and Google Business Profiles. This site is an independent third-party directory with no official affiliation with the brands listed here; ordering always follows an objective rule (regions in a fixed order, neighbourhoods in the order this site declares them, venues and brands by the stroke count of their names), and no listing is pinned or recommended. For actual opening hours and current status, follow each brand’s official announcements. Maintained by Joe Lin(老喬).
