Find four-cut photo and photobooth venues in Korea
This page compiles each Korean brand’s own official store page into a single list. It currently covers 1166 venues and 6 brands across 17 sido and 168 sigungu nationwide, with every venue’s source kept as the brand’s official store page (checked 2026-08-30). Seoul’s 6 shopping districts (Hongdae 43 / Seongsu 16 / Jongno 29 / Gangnam 29 / Itaewon · Hannam 25 / Jamsil 21) are organized in more detail below, further down this page.
CoverageHere is how nationwide coverage was compiled. Using Korea’s 230 sigungu (basic administrative units) as the axis, we queried 3 brands’ official store lists across 5 separate rosters (Photoism runs BOX, COLORED and STUDIO as three separate lists, so each had to be queried on its own) once per sigungu, completing 1150 queries in total with no gaps. The remaining 3 brands, which have no search screen and only a list page, were taken from their full official store list as it stood. Data was collected from 2026-08-28 through 2026-08-29, and each venue’s own check date is in the “Checked” column of its row. Not being on this list does not mean the venue does not exist. Our coverage is limited to the brands’ official store lists: a store that is not on the official list is one we cannot verify, and we will not fill it in from third-party data.
The wording used on this siteIn Korea, the same thing goes by several names: four-cut photo (네컷사진), photobooth (포토부스), and self photo studio (셀프사진관). This site uses only these three in titles and subheadings. The commonly used term “인생네컷” was originally the brand name of Life4Cuts, and came to be used as a general term for the whole category as that brand grew — since this is a multi-brand list, it is not used in titles, so as not to put one brand ahead of the others.

Brands covered
The figures in the table below are the venue counts this site has recorded across Korea (1166 venues in total, of which 163 are in Seoul’s 6 shopping districts). They are not each brand’s officially announced nationwide store count, and should not be read as a ranking of brand size. Ordering is alphabetical by brand name (Korean alphabetical order), never by venue count. Each brand’s nationwide store count is based on the figure shown on its own official store page as of that day, and may differ from other statistics, such as franchise disclosure filings, which use a different basis.
The record-by-record verification notes below (brand-specific data notes, and the judgment record for venues that share a registered address) are kept in the original Traditional Chinese. This is the exact wording this site used to write its verification conclusions, and translating it would mean rewriting a verification conclusion, so it is shown unchanged.
| Brand | Venues on this site | Data notes |
|---|---|---|
| DON'T LXXK UP | 22 | The brand with the smallest official store list; it also has the largest gap between its official store list and its franchise disclosure filing — see the honest-disclosure section below. |
| Life4Cuts | 221 | The Korean store name is “인생네컷.” ⚠️ This name is also used in Korea as a general term for four-cut photo venues, but not every brand goes by this name. |
| PHOTOGRAY | 250 | The official site is a plain list with no map, and its official addresses mix current road-name addresses with older lot-number addresses, so data quality is uneven. |
| Photo Drink | 15 | Its official site’s `/LOCATION` is a single-page, complete store list rather than a region-by-region roster; the August 2026 census recorded 15 stores nationwide. |
| Photoism | 541 | Korea’s largest self photo studio chain, split into three lines — BOX, COLORED and STUDIO. This site anchors on the venue, and records which line in brand_line. |
| Haru Film | 117 | The official store page is split into 8 URLs by region, with no nationwide summary page and no coordinates field. |
| Total | 1166 | 17 sido · 168 sigungu |
What an official store list can and cannot tell you
DON’T LXXK UP: the official store list itself does not cover everything. This site queried all 230 sigungu nationwide one by one, and found only 22 venues on DON’T LXXK UP’s official store page. Meanwhile, this brand reported 59 stores as of the end of 2024 in its franchise disclosure filing with the Fair Trade Commission. In other words, the official store list itself does not cover everything. Our coverage is limited to the brands’ official store lists: a store that is not on the official list is one we cannot verify, and we will not fill it in from third-party data. The two figures use different bases, so they cannot be subtracted to produce a “difference.”
PHOTOGRAY: the official page showing more than the disclosure filing is a timing gap.PHOTOGRAY runs the other direction. Its official store page showed 250 venues on the day we checked (all of which this site records), while its franchise disclosure filing with the Fair Trade Commission reported 154 stores as of the end of 2024. This is a timing gap — the disclosure filing’s more recent edition has not yet been published, not this site over-counting — and likewise the two figures cannot be compared by subtraction.

How this list was compiled
Survival is judged from each brand’s own official store page.Whether a venue is listed and whether it is operating are both judged from the brand’s own official store page; Google Maps is used only as a navigation aid. Each venue keeps its official source and check date. “Official store page” is the basis for the record, and “address” is only a link into a map search, so it does not mean the Google Business Profile itself has been verified.
Venues were also found through official store lists at the discovery stage, not through Google Maps. Here is how nationwide coverage was compiled.
Where the coordinates come from.Of the 1166 venues nationwide, 1166 currently have coordinates that can be shown on the map, and 0 do not. Of those, 784 are coordinates the brand’s own official store page provides directly for that venue, and the other 382 come from geocoding the address (for the two brands whose official pages do not provide coordinates). 0 venues use a Google Business listing confirmed by matching both the venue name and the address. Everything else links back to an address search rather than pointing at a specific venue by guesswork.
No prices are listed. We have not found an officially unified price on the Korean side. We do not blend different brands, packages, and in-store promotions into a single market-price figure.
This data is collected and checked by hand. Maintainer: Joe Lin(老喬). If you notice a venue that has moved, closed, or changed address, please let us know, checked against the official page.
The data is compiled by hand from each brand’s official store page. This site is an independent third-party directory with no official affiliation with the brands listed here; ordering always follows an objective rule (sido in administrative-division order; sigungu and venues in Korean alphabetical order), and no listing is pinned or recommended. For actual opening hours and current status, follow each brand’s official announcements. Maintained by Joe Lin(老喬).
