The self-service photo booths inside MTR stations are run by Max Sight Photo (名仕快相), and the MTR's own shop finder lists every unit. This page follows that list: 41 units at 40 stations, checked 2026-10-06.
MTR stations only. The airport, Immigration offices, universities and other places outside the MTR have no official booth-by-booth list, so they are not on this page — that does not mean there are no booths there.

Questions
Do the MTR booths give you a digital copy?
Neither the MTR nor Max Sight’s group website says whether the station booths provide a digital file. DotDotNews reported on 2025-07-29 that Max Sight’s MTR booths do not provide digital copies of the photos and suggested scanning the prints with your phone. If your application needs an uploaded photo, check the booth’s screen for that option before you pay. (DotDotNews)
Applying for a UK passport from Hong Kong?
An online UK passport application needs a digital photo. GOV.UK lets you get one from a booth or shop that gives you a photo code, or have someone take it on your own device. No official source says Max Sight’s MTR booths issue a UK photo code, so do not count on one.
Is there a passport photo booth at Hong Kong Airport?
Hong Kong International Airport is not covered by the MTR shop finder, and we have no official booth-by-booth list for the airport, so it is not on this page. On the Airport Express line, the MTR lists units at Hong Kong and Tsing Yi stations.
Who runs these booths
Max Sight Photo (名仕快相) belongs to Max Sight Group Holdings, listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (stock code 8483). The group website is an investor-relations site with no store locator, so the locations here come from the MTR, not from Max Sight.
