ID photo booths in Singapore (Photo-Me)

Read this first: what a booth photo can be used for

Checked 2026-10-31 against official pages. What you can do with a printed booth photo depends on the document:

• Singapore passport — Printed booth photo accepted? It depends — see below
The normal route is online with Singpass, and ICA asks for a passport-sized, digital, colour photo taken within the last 3 months, sized 400 × 514 pixels for e-Services upload. A print only helps if you use a hardcopy route, such as the paper form at a Singapore Overseas Mission; ICA says hardcopy photos should be printed on matte or semi-matte paper.

• Identity card registration (age 15) and re-registration (age 30 / 55) — Printed booth photo accepted? No
ICA asks for a recent passport-sized, digital, colour photo taken within the last 3 months, submitted through its e-Service. The one in-person case ICA mentions is registering late after being overseas, where you bring a printed recent colour photo to the ICA Services Centre.

We cannot tell you whether a booth works today, or what it costs. Photo-Me does not publish that on its locator.

For visas and other countries’ documents, the rules are set by the issuing embassy or authority — check their own photo requirements.
